David Malek is a multiple-award-winning magician who is considered one of the finest sleight-of-hand magicians and entertainers of his generation.
He has been entertaining corporate, private, and celebrity clients for over 25 years on every continent with the sole exception of Antarctica.
David also works as a gambling consultant to casinos on the subject of table games cheating, as well as teaching actors the basics of card handling for film and television productions.
David lives steps from the sand in Newport Beach, California.
David is one of fewer than 20 magicians in the history of the Magic Castle — Hollywood’s most exclusive private club for magicians — to receive both membership and a paid booking invitation without having to audition. That distinction, held by a small handful of performers across the club’s entire history, reflects a standard of technical precision and professional credibility that carries directly into every corporate engagement he accepts.
About David Malek – Corporate Magician & Event Entertainer
When companies and private clients throughout Southern California want to impress their guests with sophisticated, intelligent, and unforgettable entertainment, they call David Malek. Recognized as one of the top corporate magicians in the region, David brings over two decades of experience performing at high-profile business gatherings, exclusive galas, and high-end private events.
From Orange County to Los Angeles and San Diego, David Malek has built a reputation as the go-to corporate entertainer for organizations that value quality, professionalism, and engagement. His performances elevate every event—transforming receptions, conferences, and executive retreats into memorable experiences that build rapport, create laughter, and leave lasting impressions.
Corporate Entertainment with Intelligence and Impact
As a seasoned corporate magician, David specializes in creating elegant and intelligent corporate entertainment that complements business settings. His magic isn’t about props or gimmicks—it’s about connection. David understands how to engage executives, clients, and teams in ways that feel natural and refined.
His performances are designed to fit seamlessly within the structure of corporate events such as awards banquets, conferences, trade shows, and networking receptions. Every piece of magic is interactive, conversation-driven, and crafted to reflect the tone of your brand or company culture.
David’s corporate programs incorporate both close-up magic and mentalism — mind-reading sequences and psychological illusions that are custom-built for business audiences. Mentalism is particularly requested for executive dinners and C-suite events where the audience has already seen traditional magic and wants something that engages differently.
David’s approach to corporate entertainment emphasizes professionalism and polish—attributes that mirror the environments in which he performs. His sleight-of-hand artistry, humor, and storytelling make him a natural choice for event planners who demand sophistication without sacrificing fun.

He has performed for executives and teams at Costco, Canon USA, Home Depot, Qantas Airways, KPRS Construction, and many others. Each performance reflects the standards of excellence these brands represent.
On the private side, David has performed for Denzel Washington, Wayne Gretzky, Michael Jackson, Prince, and Lionel Richie — a client roster that reflects the same standard his corporate clients expect: entertainment calibrated for people who have seen everything.
When you hire David Malek as your corporate magician, you’re not hiring just a performer—you’re securing a trusted professional who understands corporate etiquette, discretion, and presentation. His refined demeanor, impeccable timing, and respect for audience diversity make him a perfect fit for boardrooms, conferences, and corporate celebrations alike.
